Backyard pine turnings hollowing out an inch or so from the inside scraping with a parting tool a little tool theory and now some more off the outside

we could fit another 200 or so in this space this wet pine spatters Janice Levi's tools I think I can see some light thru the wood now to finish thickness from the inside

it's good to measure the thickness too now a little more from the lower half almost ready for a little sanding but first some magic oil the liquid mixture keeps the piece from drying out, and the soap makes it cut smooth

use open mesh grits to sand the first of multiple applications of finish yep, it has soaked thru already a great way to recycle your back yard pine
