Safety Minute:

Our Safety Minute was presented By James Shinkle. Every wood-turner uses a chainsaw and the main things to remember are

ear muffs/plugs

eye protection

be careful and watch how you cut

Demonstration:

Our guest turner, Dan Henry from the Hunt County Club, did a great presentation on segmented turning. We expect lots of new projects on the instant gallery table next month.

Dan Henry also judged our Presidents Challenge, weed pots. Bill Meador was the winner.

This month has been a bit busy for me, plenty of spindle turning in front of me. I haven't heard from anybody wishing to contribute an article to this rag, so you will only see what I have to say here in this space.
